Today, I'm thrilled to share with you the heartwarming story of Baby Lorelai and her delightful 6-month Baby Program update. Meet Alison, Rick, and their wonderful kids, Jewel, Aidan, Micah, and of course, the adorable Lorelai.
We first crossed paths through a homeschool music class, and although the have stopped homeschooling their kids, our friendship remains strong. We make sure to catch up and capture the most precious moments of their family life through photography. Trust me; you're in for a treat!
For this session, we stayed close to home. This was where the family was most comfortable, and they really wanted authentic shots of what their world is like during this stage of life.
Alison and Rick truly understand the beauty of documenting life's little details, cherishing even the seemingly ordinary moments. From contagious giggles to fun games, their family home is a treasure trove of memories waiting to be captured.
The family also wanted to include their lovable dog, Merlin! He joined the family in February 2021. Let me tell you, Lorelai absolutely adores playing chase with him! I love it when families include beloved pets into their photo sessions.
As any parent knows, gathering all the kids for a group shot can sometimes be a bit like herding cats. But guess what? With a sprinkle of patience and a whole lot of love, Jewel, Aidan, Micah, and Lorelai finally came together for an absolutely heartwarming sibling portrait. These images perfectly reflect the deep bond they share, and they're bound to bring a smile to your face.
And of course, we had to take a gazillion photos of our shining star, Lorelai! Let's take a moment to shine the spotlight on the true star of the show: Baby Lorelai! Her infectious smiles and radiant personality lit up the room during the session.
Can you believe it? She's now sitting up for short bursts without any support, although she’s still a little wobbly. It's amazing how much she's grown since her three month update!
As a photographer, I consider it an absolute privilege to capture these tiny miracles. Lorelai's milestones aren't just about her growth; they're a celebration of the love and care that surround her every day. Through the lens, we captured the twinkle in her eyes, the adorable dimples on her cheeks, and her blossoming personality that will continue to shine as she grows.
Overall, this 6 month Baby Program update was everything and more. It was great seeing you all again, and I can’t wait to come back for Lorelei’s 9 month update!
