Tilly's One Year Baby Program Update at McKee Botanical Gardens

Capturing precious moments with Baby Tilly at McKee Botanical Gardens was an absolute joy. This one-year-old newborn photography session was made even more special by the fact that it was our last installment of Tilly’s Baby Program.

It’s so bittersweet to see her Baby Program gallery come to an end, but I know we’ll have many more sessions in the future. I can’t wait to watch her grow up!

As repeat clients, I have had the pleasure of capturing so many precious milestones for this family, from mini sessions to a year in the life documentation. Erin, a dedicated stay-at-home mom, and Alekos, a pilot, have entrusted me with documenting their growing family, and I am so grateful for their continued support.

During Tilly’s One Year Baby Program session, we witnessed Tilly's adorable personality shine through. Although she hadn't started walking just yet, but we captured numerous moments of her crawling and standing without help. It’s amazing how big she’s gotten!

Tilly was so curious about the world around her. I feel like there’s so many everyday things that we take for granted, and it was so precious seeing Tilly discover those normal things of beauty that we would typically just look over.

Ace and Calix, Tilly's amazing big brothers, added an extra layer of love and excitement to the session. They had such a cheerful demeanor and adoration for their baby sister! We were able to capture candid moments of their interactions, showcasing the strong bond between these siblings.

We also made sure to get updated portraits of everyone! From Mom and Dad to the boys, everyone had a chance to be in the spotlight.

The family’s flexibility with scheduling was key to ensuring a smooth and stress-free session. The Botanical Gardens is open in the late mornings and closes in the afternoon, so we worked together to find a time that would work for both of us.

During these opening hours, the light isn’t the greatest, but we managed to create stunning images despite this complication. I know this location like the back of my hand, so I knew just the spots to take them to achieve that light and airy look. Since this family loves the outdoors, this was the location perfect.

So now, we close the chapter of Tilly’s first year. I can’t believe how grown up she is! Tilly, you’re a little star. Keep shining!
