One of the greatest events for school-age kids in Vero Beach is the annual Indian River STEAM Fest! This year, it was held at the Intergenerational Recreation Center (IG Center) in Vero Beach. It was such a remarkable event that brought the whole community together. Take a look!
Organized by the Vero Beach Academy and supported by various sponsors, including Chick-Fil-A and the Vero Beach Museum of Art, this event showcased the power of collaboration and community engagement.
The Indian River STEAM Fest 2023 would not have been possible without these generous sponsors. It’s definitely one of my favorite ways that our community comes together. After all, one of the best things we can do is to foster a love of learning and wonder in all of our kids.
That’s why sponsoring STEAM Fest is one of the ways that I personally give back to the community! This is something that I’ve done for several years now, and it’s always a blast every time. It’s so much fun to come together and watch all the kids learn something new.
This year’s event was above and beyond! The IG Center buzzed with energy as children and adults explored a wide range of interactive exhibits, engaging workshops, and captivating demonstrations.
From robotics and virtual reality to art installations and hands-on experiments, the event provided a dynamic platform for fostering curiosity and igniting a passion for STEAM subjects like science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
Vero Beach Academy and its partners were so committed to creating an enriching environment that encouraged learning, creativity, and collaboration. I think everyone who came learned something new and had a little fun while they were at it.
Every aspect, from the layout of the exhibits to the engaging activities, was carefully thought out to ensure an unforgettable experience. The friendly volunteers and dedicated organizers contributed to the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, and I couldn’t get enough of it!
With its seamless organization, engaging activities, and support from the community, this event will undoubtedly continue to inspire future generations of innovators and creators.
As always The Indian River STEAM Fest 2023 at the IG Center in Vero Beach, was a resounding success. I can’t wait to come back next year!
