Leverman Baby Animal Session

Photographing the Leverman Family is always a pleasure. I’ve done basically every kind of photo session with them since I first started my photography business. Fun fact, they were one of my first clients, and we’ve been great friends ever since!

Because we’ve been friends for so long, they didn’t even need time to warm up to me! This family was in their element from the start, and I loved every second of it.

The kids are regulars for my Baby Animal Sessions, and they always come ready to smile! It’s so much fun to watch them with the animals. I know they look forward to it every year, which is a huge plus for Mom!

Even the boys were into it. Mylo wasn’t shy at all about photos with the unicorn! Sarah’s Party Animals did an amazing job dressing him up with flowers and a golden horn.

Tessa is already an amazing entrepreneur. If you need any treats for your next party or event, definitely check out her bakery, Symphony of Tiers! She made the most AMAZING wedding cake for my daughter Sarah and has been our go-to for all of our special events.

Tessa and Abby are best friends, so we had to get a photo of them together! These two have been friends for a long time. It’s so exciting to watch them grow into beautiful young ladies!

Mylo and Fynn are growing up too! These two looked so handsome in their matching pastel shirts, which were perfect for this April mini session!

Every smile was huge and genuine. I can’t thank Sarah’s Party Animals enough for the amazing experience! Sarah and Donna go above and beyond to make sure that the sessions go smoothly.

Leverman Family, thanks so much for being a part of my Baby Animal Sessions! Every second was a blast, and I know the kids loved playing games together during our picnic! This was such a golden day, and I hope you remember it as fondly as I do!

Larson Baby Animal Session

I’m so thrilled that my sister lives close enough now to participate in my Baby Animal Mini Sessions! These kiddos and teens have always wanted to join in the fun, so this day was perfect!

As always, I teamed up with Sarah’s Party Animals to bring smiles everywhere! Not even the teenagers could resist the fluff balls.

My daughter hopped into a few of the shots too. We call these three the triplets! They are such great friends and do absolutely everything together. They were completely in awe of the chicks.

My favorite photos from this session were with the unicorn. As you can imagine, he was a huge hit with the girls, all dressed up in flowers! With matching dresses and cowgirl boots, these three were ready for an adventure!

Ducklings are also a favorite! They never fail to bring on the smiles. Sarah’s Party Animals always brings an assortment of them. She brought enough for each of my nieces and nephews to hold one, so we took our group shots with these!

This year, we corralled the animals with a fence so they wouldn’t run off! This one looks like a part of the scenery, so it doesn’t take away from the sweetness of your kiddos!

The unicorn, of course, was too big for the little fence, but he was content with his lead rope. The girls took turns holding it and interacting with him. From long patting sessions to blades of grass, he got so much attention!

I caught so many sweet moments of the boys with the rabbits! The brown one was so curious about his surroundings. You’ll see him hopping in the background of some shots. This fluffy brown and white one was so calm and content to sit quietly. It was great to have the variety!

My Baby Animal Mini Sessions usually happen in April, so keep an eye out for my future announcements! They’re always a blast, and we get some magical shots.

Ava and Owen's Baby Animal Mini Session

My Baby Animal Mini Sessions turned out adorably for all of my clients, but Ava and Owen definitely shone brightly as a memorable sibling pair. These two are the cutest! Here are some amazing photos from our time together.

As always, my Baby Animal Mini Sessions happened at the Buffer Preserve. This is a great area in Sebastian FL with plenty of open space and rustic fencing.

Beyond the adorable photo opportunities, this baby animal mini session offered chances for Ava and Owen to learn about how to handle animals respectfully. This hands-on learning experience ignited a spark of curiosity in this pair.

Their parents, Derek and Julie, were the sweetest as they watched their kids discover the little critters from Sarah’s Party Animals. I’m so happy that this day wasn’t just about family photos but about creating memories!

Derek is a dedicated teacher who homeschools the kids, and Julie is a massage therapist. They are so proud of their kids! These parents were fantastic at encouraging their kids to be gentle with the animals.

I know Sarah and Donna really appreciated the care Ava and Owen showed when handling the ducks, chicks, and bunnies! That extra level of care made our session particularly special.

Decked out in cute outfits, Ava and Owen eagerly approached our furry and feathered friends. Their initial shyness soon gave way to excitement as they gently petted and interacted with the bunnies, chicks, and ducks.

If I remember correctly, Owen had fallen asleep in the car, so it took a little time to warm up to me, but after interacting with the animals a little bit, that frown turned upside down! Nothing does that quite like baby animals.

It definitely helped that I’ve had a bunch of other sessions with this amazing family. None of us were strangers, and we were able to start again where we had left off and create gorgeous photos for the family to enjoy.

Baby Animal Sessions are coming SOON!

Wednesday evening April 5th and

We’re so excited to be partnering again with Sarah’s Party Animals - they truly are the best when it comes to animals and kiddos, and we have so much fun with our sessions every year! Sarah and Donna are bringing bunnies, chicks and ducklings to our sessions. We will be in Sebastian, Florida, at a field close to the highway exit. (You’ll be sent detailed directions and instructions after sign-up closer to our date.)

These are quick 15 minute sessions that focus on candid moments with your children and baby animals. While 15 minutes is quick, we can still get a few individual portraits as well as your children together. In the past we’ve had the whole family jump in photos, cousins and/or friends, and kids all ages from babies to teens. Everyone loves baby animals! (If you think your child might be nervous about the live animals, come prepared to jump in the photos with your child!)

Your session includes your favorite five edited high resolution digital images, and if you have trouble choosing, a gallery upgrade is also available! Your full gallery will be 25 images. If it’s easier to make two payments, just let me know and we’ll set that up.

Abby and I have been offering Baby Animal Sessions with Sarah’s Party Animals since 2018 (we did skip 2020), so when you sign up with us you know you’ve got the pros :-)

2022 Baby Animal Mini Sessions with Sarah’s Party Animals Part 2

This is part two of my 2022 Baby Animal Mini Sessions with Sarah’s Party Animals! If you missed part 1, be sure to check out last week’s blog post for more terrific baby animal photos!

Rosie and Joey were as cute as could be. I’ve met their whole family during a beach mini session, and this time, they were just as happy to be in front of the camera.

Their mom, Meg, is an amazing artist. She even illustrates kids’ books! I absolutely love her art style. It’s perfect for children’s books. Tap here to check them out for yourself!

Rosie and Joey LOVED spending time with all of the animals. Sarah and Donna from Sarah’s Party Animals kept our session running so smoothly by switching out our furry and feathery friends as-needed.

With bright smiles, the kids were filled with new rounds of joy every time a new animal was brought in for them. It was so cute!

The next family that booked me was the L Family! I met the them years ago for a Day in the Life shoot. Since then, we’ve become great friends! Our teens and little ones are around the same age, and they get along so well.

We just had to get a shot of all of them together! The kids, Tessa, Mylo, and Fynn, have participated in a Baby Animal mini session before, so they knew that they could expect some adorable ducks, bunnies, and chicks this year!

Baby animals never fail to get the smiles growing! This time was no different. From the oldest to the youngest, the L Family beamed from ear to ear as they engaged with the animals.

With our mini sessions completed, I took a few extra minutes to snap some photos of my daughters, who helped out big time! Thanks a bunch, you two!
