About two weeks ago, I spent a special day with the N family. They are a very busy family with three fun children, and a much-loved dog Cheeto. Our Saturday together ended up being one of those wonderful, rare days with everyone home.
It was so clear everyone loved being together. I was able to document family games, a walk/bike ride to a fishing pond, meals, and time at a campfire at the end of the day, listening to music. And all the in-between times, too. A hug, a kiss, a hand on cheek. Moments you don't want to forget.
And I caught a bunch of naughty moments. Actually, a few of them. Not all made it to the movie, but at least one did. (I just hope a certain someone didn't get in trouble after mom and dad saw this movie!).
The thing is, we all want real, right? We might not know it at first, but raw and real is what we do want to remember. No one's life is perfect, no family is perfect, no children behave perfectly. And you do want to have blackmail material for later years, or entertainment for the wedding reception, yes?

2017 Winter Day in the Life Sessions

If you have been thinking about having your Day in the Life Session this winter, it's time to book your date! I have limited sessions available in Florida and in Maine (New England).
With my current scheduled bookings there are only four open spots:

* One session available in February/March in Western Maine (New England families, ask me about other locations)
* One more session available in late March in Florida.
We can also book your Florida Day in the Life Session for late Spring.
My experience is life with children go in cycles of about three months. Think about it - especially in babies and little children three months makes a huge difference. Do you want to make your Day in the Life documentary now - or in a few months?

Newborn Documentary Session
Christmas and babies - two of my favorite things! And I had the privilege to photograph Baby L and his family just days before Christmas. Such a blessing and privilege! I loved my time with this special family.
We had a half day Newborn Documentary Session, which basically is a half a Day in the Life Session, with emphasis on baby. I joined the D family as they prepared their hearts and home for Christmas, which was so special with a brand new baby boy. Check out their movie as mom, dad, three boys (ages 7, 4 & one week) and aunt N bake cookies, play and love on baby L and each other.
A memorable Christmas for the D family, for sure.
