Mini Sessions start at $225 and I’ll schedule a day of them in January. I also have them around Easter, Mother’s Day and several of them in the fall.
Family Reunion with the V Family
While I was up north, my associate photographer, Ashley, took photos of the V family for their family reunion session! I was so excited to edit them because they are such a beautiful family, and I have loved our previous sessions! It’s always so wonderful to serve clients year after year - it’s an honor I don’t take lightly.
Grandma and grandpa’s house is so stunning! We started with some portraits in front of their gorgeous door. Here are all of the grandkids!
After portraits, we went to the beach. We made sure to get some individual photos and photos with siblings. How sweet are these two!
Games of freeze tag are an essential part of reunions, especially when there are cousins involved!
And so is finger-pointing!
While the boys ran around, the girls played in the sand and looked for shells.
I love these candid moments!
Lastly, we went back home for a meal. Grandma and Grandpa had prepared a special dinner, and Ashley did an amazing job, capturing the details!
Happy birthday! It was so wonderful to see how the kids have grown. We’re thrilled to document your reunion!
Laughter with the L Family!
Most of my fall sessions are Mini Sessions so I can help as many families as possible get their holiday photos, but when I can, I squeeze in longer sessions. This one in Jupiter was quite the adventure last month!
I was unfamiliar with area, but my clients (friends since our first Day In The Life Session in 2017!) knew the area and suggested a photo shoot at the Jupiter Lighthouse after Mae’s orthodontist appointment. Sounded great!
Until we discovered at the gate that the lighthouse park was closed.
No worries, we drove around to a park where you can see the lighthouse from! We scouted out an area, looked great - then the heavens open up, wind picked up, and it felt like a hurricane was coming through.
We weren’t too worried. It was still early so we went to have dinner at utikibeach and while I got pretty soaked during my run to the restaurant, the family fared better and we had a fun and yummy dinner.
After we ate, we snapped a few family pics at the dock with the lighthouse in the background. This picture shows how wet it got and why my toms were soaked!
We then drove to the pretty park, and light was absolutely amazing! We started going through the various portraits, and then the kids screamed out: no-see-ums!!! We had to take multiple breaks for them to slap the bugs.
Sometimes this is how it goes, but we kept going and laughing and everyone had a good time.
And we got great pics too 🥳📸💪🏻
Taylor and Gardner Tie the Knot!
After ten years of knowing each other, Taylor and Gardner tied the knot! Congratulations you two!
Taylor and Gardner met each other in freshman year of college, and he ended up following her to DC! If that’s not love, I don’t know what is.
It was a beautiful wedding in South Chatham, Massachusetts, right on Cape Cod. The ceremony was held at Forest Beach Overlook, and the reception at Our Great Gatsby!
With only thirty-eight guests, the wedding had such an intimate feel to it. Clean, classic, and a little rustic, I don’t think it could have turned out any more special!
We made sure to include lots of detail photographs that showcase the venue and decorations! These are a couple of my favorites.
We even captured some drone shots!
Then, it was off to the reception to celebrate the newlyweds! Heidi from Fiddlestix catered the food, and Perfect Pour kept everyone’s glasses full.
The evening was magical, especially during the first dance! The twinkle lights really helped set the mood.
But after that, it was time to par-tay!
The cake was made by Cottage St Bakery. It’s so elegant! Perfect for a beautiful wedding like this.
You two certainly had a lot of fun with it! I love your expressions in this photo!
Wishing you a very happy marriage, Taylor and Gardner! Congratulations, and God bless you!
Summer Celebrations with the Sculley Family
To start off our sessions up north, we met with the Sculley family in Oquossoc, Maine, for Grandma Theresa’s birthday celebration!
We had no shortage of silly faces! Joke’s on you, kids, because these pics are too priceless not to put on the internet!
After some group photos, we caught some fun ones while the littles broke out the bubbles! There were eight little ones, ages 5 months to 5 years, plus a teenager. Luckily, we had some help! My daughter Abby helped me photograph, and Tessa and Braiden joined the team to help herd the cats.
After that, we exchanged bubble wands for s’mores sticks!
And happily stuffed our faces, too!
Grandma Theresa’s camp is right on Rangeley Lake, and the gardens were so pretty! The happily blooming flowers perfectly accentuated the joy in the photos. I can’t imagine a better setting for your family!
Lastly, we were sure to snap plenty of baby photos! Who can resist such cute smiles?
Happy birthday, Grandma Theresa! It was such a blessing to meet you and your beautiful family. It was such a joy to document these precious moments for you. I wish you all the very best!
