C Family's Beach Mini Session at the Disney Resort

Recently, I had the pleasure of working with the wonderful C family at the Disney Resort in Vero Beach. Due to an unforeseen conflict, I couldn't personally shoot the session as originally planned. However, my talented colleague Ashley stepped in while I took on the editing duties.

The session went off without a hitch thanks to the incredible understanding and flexibility of the C family. The collaboration was seamless, and the C family was thrilled with both Ashley's photography skills and the final edited photos.

It's always a joy to work with children who are genuinely excited about a photoshoot. On an average day, Mom told me that the C kiddos are not big fans of having their pictures taken. Typically, they lose interest after a few poses.

However, this session was different. The kids themselves had requested professional beach photos, so they were super excited coming into this photo session. Their eagerness translated into gorgeous moments!

This year marks significant milestones for the C family's daughters, turning 10 and 13. Capturing these ages through professional photography was a special way to celebrate their growth and create lasting memories.

On another note, I absolutely loved their matching Disney Vacation T-Shirts! The ladies had matching Minnie Mouse ones, and Dad opted for Mickey! These are going to be awesome mementos.

As always, the Disney Resort in Vero Beach was a great backdrop for the session. The beach's natural beauty and the resort's charm offered endless opportunities for capturing picturesque moments.

From playful shots in the sand to serene portraits by the water, every image reflected the joy and connection within the C family.

While I couldn’t be there in person, editing the photos from this session was such a wonderful experience. Seeing the genuine smiles, the candid interactions, and the beautiful setting come together in the final images was incredibly rewarding.

Beach Mini Session with the Carkovic Family

On a glorious day in October, the Carkovic family joined me for my Beach Mini Sessions at Riomar Beach in Vero Beach. I absolutely loved seeing them again! Their vibrant energy and deep familial bond, made this experience truly unforgettable. Here are some of the stunning images!

Erin and Alekos are the pillars of this lovely family. While Alekos is flying across the country as a pilot, Erin holds down the fort and homeschools the kiddos. They have three: Ace, Calix, and little Matilda (fondly called Tilly).

I can’t thank the Carkovics enough that they’ve trusted me to document their family on numerous occasions. From a Year in the Life to Tilly’s adorable Baby Program sessions, I’ve also had the pleasure of taking so many mini sessions for them. It’s always a blast!

This time, we went to the shores of Riomar Beach, which was the perfect place to show off the amazing bond of this family. The sand, water, and sky always hold so much opportunity.

With its vast, open spaces, the beach can often be a challenge with young children. However, Erin kept the little ones engaged and relatively "contained." She brought along baskets that not only added a whimsical element to the photos but also served as a playful distraction for Ace, Calix, and Tilly. Genius!

Mini sessions last only 15 minutes, so we had to work fast to capture all of the memories that Erin wanted. It can be pretty tricky to work on a time crunch with young kiddos, but we managed to get some really sweet shots along the way.

As I clicked away, we focused on bringing their connection to life. After a couple of quick portraits, we hit the sand to make some waves.

I live for the candid moments. This family was so full of impromptu laughter and playful chases along the water's edge. These are the moments where true love shines through, turning a photograph into a treasure trove of memories.

As the session drew to a close, I felt a profound sense of gratitude for being able to capture these fleeting moments for the Carkovic family. The Carkovics are a reminder that family isn’t just an important thing, it’s everything.

In the end, we walked away with a collection of beautiful, vibrant photographs that encapsulated the essence of the Carkovic family. And as their photographer and friend, I am honored to be a part of their journey.

Parker Family Beach Mini Session at Round Island Park Beach

Kierstin and Matt are a gorgeous couple, and I absolutely loved taking their photos at my beach mini sessions at Round Island Park Beach! Take a look at the amazing gallery we made together.

These two are beyond cute. I absolutely LOVE it when my couples dress up, and these two were dressed to the nines!

Kierstin’s dress had the most amazing train. Paired with the white sands and the aqua sea, these photos turned out perfectly.

Mini sessions are short for busy people like you, but we can still do a ton within the time limit! My mini sessions typically last around 15 minutes, and we capture a variety of poses and candid smiles. This pose is one of my favorites for couples!

It definitely helps if my clients are having a great time during the session! We laughed and smiled the entire time, which made for some precious photos with golden backlight.

I had Matt and Kierstin cuddle in the sand, walk along the shore, and simply enjoy each other’s company. These two are so in love!

These moments were so organic and sweet. I’m so glad that I caught them on camera. I mean, just look at how adorable they are together!

I loved every single second of this photo shoot. From candid moments to posed portraits, I think we got a great variety of everything.

Watson Family Beach Mini Session at Round Island Beach Park

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing the Watson family during my Beach Mini Sessions at Round Island Beach Park. This session was particularly special for me because I got to see Stephanie again! She is the founder and director of Vero Beach Academy, where my daughter has received part of her education.

Reconnecting with her and meeting her wonderful family was an absolute delight. Stephanie and her husband Jeremy, along with their three beautiful daughters: Alexa, Emma, and Sophia, provided me with the perfect opportunity to freeze moments in time for them. They were eager to document this point in their lives, and I was more than excited to be their photographer.

When I first met the Watson family at Round Island Beach Park, they were so excited to create some memories. Stephanie was determined that we capture the essences of all her girls, and we were up for the challenge.

We began with capturing the sisters' bond. Whether they were sitting down, standing up, or even in individual shots, their warmth shone brightly. Their laughter and affection for each other added an extra layer of charm to each photo!

Having not had a family photo session in many years, they were initially a little nervous. However, it didn't take much coaxing for them to relax and let their love for each other shine through.

Of course, I just had to sneak in about a million couple photos!

Gradually, the family opened up and let loose, revealing their genuine love for each other. Their willingness to be themselves made this session a huge success! By the end of our time together, they were radiant, relaxed, and genuinely enjoying themselves.

The images we captured during this session will serve as a beautiful reminder of this moment in their lives, preserving the love, joy, and connection they share as a family.

Photographing the Watson family at Round Island Beach Park for my Beach Mini Sessions was an amazing experience. Reconnecting with Stephanie and getting to know her loving family was a huge privilege.

Green Family Beach Mini Sessions at Round Island Beach Park

Can you feel the excitement in the air? I’ve got to share a fabulous beach mini photo session with the incredible Green Family! I can’t wait to dive into their adventure at Round Island Beach Park, where outfit coordination, fun, and candid shots stole the show!

Lindsay and Brian, along with their lovely daughter Elise, were absolutely fantastic during their beach mini photo session. In today's fast-paced world, capturing and preserving family moments has become more important than ever, and I’m so glad that they participated in my beach mini sessions!

Round Island Beach Park was the perfect location for our beach photo session because it provided the Green Family with a picturesque backdrop. With its golden sands, azure waters, and breathtaking coastal scenery, I couldn’t have asked for a better spot! Round Island Beach Park definitely makes this family shine, and I’m all here for it!

One of the keys to a successful family photo session is outfit coordination. The Green Family truly excelled in this aspect because they carefully selected outfits that complemented each other and the scenic beach surroundings. With a harmonious blend of colors and styles, they created a cohesive style that was visually pleasing and full of personality.

During our beach mini photo session, Lindsay and Brian went above and beyond to make a happy space. By encouraging Elise to play, explore, and express herself freely, they created authentic moments that truly reflected the spirit and personality of their family dynamic.

Lindsay and Brian knew exactly how to keep the party going, and their little star, Elise, sparkled with her infectious laughter and playful spirit. They transformed the photo session into a non-stop joy ride, turning every click into a magical moment. It was a sheer delight to witness the unfiltered happiness that radiated from this bunch!

As a photographer, it was heartening to witness the Green Family's appreciation for what I do. They understood the power of candid shots, recognizing that these unposed moments hold a unique charm and authenticity. No stiff poses or forced smiles here—just genuine, heartwarming moments.

By allowing me to capture the story of their beach time through spontaneous snapshots, they entrusted me to create a collection of photographs that will serve as a cherished keepsake for years to come!
